RUBÉN ACOSTA - Spain / Canary Islands
Rubén's personal work is centred on the relationship between buildings, spaces and humans. His art work is almost always presented as series and often combines photo´s and video installations. In Spain he is also represented by the gallery My Name is Lolita Art, he has held many exhibitions in Spain (PHOTOEspaña, MadridFoto) and internationally and won an important award during Madrid Foto 2009. He just returned from Dubai, where he realized his latest project to be presented at MADRIDFoto 2010 in May.
His commissioned work is mostly related to architecture: luxurious resorts & hotels, architecture & design studios and public administration. For 2010 the goals are set on international expansion, both with his art work as well as his commissioned work.
RICK ARNOLD - The Netherlands
Rick studied photography at the Willem de Kooning Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam and has worked as photographer since then. He lived and worked in Barcelona and has recently opened his new photographic studio: 300 m2 with incredible daylight, enormous heights and capacity for all kind of productions. Rick's images are commercial and creative with clear domination of light and composition, especially notable in his car photography. His editorial and commissioned work offers great portrait photography; in his search for contrasts he shows us strong but at the same time vulnerable men & women, inspired by the romance and tragedy of real live. His client list is impressive: AUDI, BMW, RANDSTAD, VODAFONE, SONY/BMG, ING, BAILMAN, HAIR, PORSCHE or PLAYBOY are just some of the well known brands that Rick Arnold has worked for.
SARA BERNUY - Spain
Sara (Madrid, 1983) is a young photographic talent, with a special interest in abandoned spaces. She creates beautiful images of interiors in decline, searching for something she has not yet found. More than documenting the space or building itself, she searches for the sentiments and emotions left behind by the former inhabitants and visitors. Some of that same fragility and sensibility we find in her portraits and editorial work that consist of powerful, sharp images that are always more than just a registration of facts and faces. Sara Bernuy has celebrated expositions in different galleries throughout Spain and her work is published frequently in different magazines. Numbstar has included her in its portfolio of special photographic talents.
Her clients include NGO's like Special Olympics Spain and Fremap.
PHILIPPE CIAPARRA - France
Paris based photographer Philippe Ciaparra offers us delightful fashion & beauty photography, showing both the vulnerability and strength of his models, always in a perfect balanced and glamorous way. He has collaborated with model agencies like Elite Paris, Nathalie, Next, Parallele, Angels and Ford and he publishes in magazines like Gala, Standard and Psychic. Amongst his clients we find agencies like DDB, V Agency Paris, GLMR and Golden Communication, amongst others. Besides his commercial work Philippe also works continuously on his personal portfolio 'Beyond Fashion'. Based on the equilibrium of shapes and volumes, he creates a world of his own, sometimes slipping into a degree of abstraction, with the hope of making it all eternal and as main goal 'to make wise use of the beautiful seeing machine that we call our eyes.'
JULIO GAMBOA- Spain
Julio, originally from Spain, has lived for many years in the USA where he initiated his career as professional photographer. His work includes portrait, advertising and fashion photography as well as works of beautiful fine art works.
With a technique fine tuned through the years he creates images with strong contrasts and an environment that emphasizes the peculiarity and beauty of his models.
Julio has been awarded with the International Aperture Awards in the category People & Portrait. His client list includes Vogue Eye Wear, Vasari, Moët & Chandon, Audi, State Farm Insurance, Pony Shoes y Lancôme. Julio´s work is published frequently in magazines and portals like Vogue España, GQ España and Vogue.es.
DIANA KUNST - Spain
At early age Diana has been surrounded by fashion designers, stylists, make up & hair artists. After finishing her studies of art, becoming a professional photographer was a natural decision. Diana offers us a portfolio of fashion and portrait photography. Her excellent black and white portrait photography, offers us views on modern urban culture and people. Her sometimes dramatic and baroque fashion photography is full of creativity and artistic value. Her works have been published in The Black Book of Art and Fashion (UK), Cyan Mag, H Magazine, El País Semanal and several online mags and portals like Lelook and Centromodaonline. She collaborates frequently with event producers and nightclubs, spotting the latest trends and fashions. Besides all this she also directs great videos, the most recent for Vanity Teen.
CHRIS LAWRENCE - Spain / Italy
Chris (USA, 1973) has been fascinated by cameras since his childhood. At 10 he was given his first Reflex and began developing and printing his own pictures. He studied art, design and photography in Italy and USA, worked for some years in USA as a photographer. In 1999 he came to Spain, where he started his career as a free lance photographer. Thanks to this experience in graphic design, Chris has become an expert in digital imaging.

PABLO SOLA - Spain
Pablo Sola's work recreates a fictional reality within a contremporary pop esthetic with barroque scenery, extravagant models and scandalous treatment of colour. He demonstrates a critical and sarcastic view on high society, the star system and certain institutions, but always with a great sense of beauty, detailed styling, lots of humour and a touch of glamour.
At the age of 25, Pablo Sola (Madrid, 1984) has already participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Europe: recently at the art festival ARTENDENCIAS in Madrid and FOTO ENCUENTROS in Biset Arte in Cartagena, Spain.
His capability to create very different atmospheres with his particular style, has lead him to publish in magazines like Area-Zinc, On Madrid, El País, Rolling Stone and FHM, amongst others.
MARTIN STRANKA - Czech Republic
'Martin's work exists in that space between dreams and waking, those split seconds when a person has a foot in both worlds. Light like the first rays of twilight filtering through a curtain when even the dust seems to glitter with some sort of hidden purpose or meaning. The language of stillness: the solitary sound of your own footsteps echoing down the streets of a deserted city. And on every building the flickering image of a silent film like faded memories.'
However, Martin is by no means just another dreamer, he is a very serious and hard worker who plans his photographic career with determination and great effort. Following artists like Jan Saudek, Karel Gott or Martin Schreiber, he is celebratinghis first solo exhibition in Prague's Solidni Nejistota (Solid Uncertainty). Several advertising projects already include his stunning images.
TXUCA - Spain
Txuca was born in Madrid in 1975.
Her interest in the search for the uniqueness in every face soon lead her to shooting portraits. She continued her studies of photography specializing in Audiovisual Communication. After finishing her studies she collaborated with a great variety of audiovisual projects. Since 2006 she has been dedicated full time to photography. She considers herself romantic with a special love for analogical photography, but is very well aware of the importance and possibilities of digital photography. She specializes in people, landscapes and reportage. Her backstage photography combines all these disciplines and offers a great example of the versatility of this great professional. She was finalist in FotoActivate '09 and "For You" got the Jury Prize in "The Gift" contest for The Night in White of PhotoEspaña 2009 .
VINCENT URBANI - Spain / Italy
Vincent (Rome, 1985) born in the middle of the 80's grew up breathing its style, tendencies and contradictions. His earlier work is very much influenced by that. In its actual portfolio we see a more tecnical aproach towards photgraphy with cleaner images and more elegance.
Graduated in advertising and marketing, he studied digital photography at the EFTI Academy in Madrid.
Vincent collaborates with fashion designers, singers, actors and editorials in Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, UK and Japan and has worked on different advertising campaigns like Wella, Gabriel Crossier and Wannabe Society.
